Dr. Brown's -level 3 nipples
At what age did you switch your baby to level 3? The package suggests 6 months. DD is almost 7 months old now. I tried it a few weeks ago and she totally spit up. Just curious when you switched.

Re: Dr. Brown's -level 3 nipples
ds is 6 months and i'm still using level 2. i don't anticipate switching anytime soon because ds seems comfortable with the level 2. i guess i will switch if he starts to seem frustrated with the flow...

I'd say to go by your daughter, not the package. Those ages are only approximations.
Lily switched to the level 3 nipples when she was 2 months (recommended age is 3 months, according to the package). We recently switched her to a different bottle, but she left the Dr. Brown's still at the level 2 nipple, and she was quite happy with it. (We switched her because we're too lazy to wash all of the parts, and she's gotten over her gas issues .)

My dd is still on level 2 at 6 1/2 m. She hasnt been drinking that much since we started formulas and the speed of level 2 still seems to be working.

I agree. My DD switched to level 3s at 7 months old. She was taking forever to finish a bottle and fighting us, so we knew it was time for the change up.
But on the other hand, my oldest DD was on size 2 advents til she was weaned from bottles at 18 months old.

we use born free but we switched ds to level 3 at 6 months... at first he had trouble keeping up with the flow but we kept trying and he got used to it...

Re: Dr. Brown's -level 3 nipples
We switched to level 3 around 7 months & it was fine for DD, yet she is on the bigger side. I'd just wait a few more weeks & try again w/ your DD

Re: Dr. Brown's -level 3 nipples
I use level 2's and don't plan to switch to level 3's, she's comfortable with this flow.

DD is almost 6 months and I am not switching yet. She chugs her bottles now with #2 and doesnt need to drink ANY faster than she already does
