Dr. Kofinas - Empire (NYSHIP)
Does anybody see him with out of network Empire NYSHIP benefits? I called the office and they said the 1st visit would be $388 to cover my deductible. And then 20% for each additional visit. I'm thinking that 20% each visit over the course of a few months will add up?!? TIA

The visits are about $1200-$1500 each.... as far as I knew, however, his office doesn't bill for the 20%- that they only take the 80%.. this might be wrong or changed though.

I have Blue Cross BLue shield and i had to pay 500 first and now 25 copay every visit. Well worth it.

That is how it was for me. My last visit was in January though. Some of my visits were 3k or 5k...(i had twins though)...but if you have to pay 20% now that will add up fast!

I have NYSHIP and I paid my deductible and then a $20 copay each time I go. He is worth every, single penny.

I have Empire NyShip, and they just charged me a deductible of $380 and never charged me anything else, not even a co-payment. You will be very happy with him and he is worth it.
