I remember this episode and I just thought about them today....was looking at my DD and thinking that I am so lucky to have a healthy baby girl and how hard it must still be for that mother...

Unfortunately, the risk for serious birth defects grows exponentially with triplets
I know a triplet mommy and one of her sons was born deaf but has the implants and goes to therapy and is doing well... thankfully.
