Re: dr. san ramon?
I have never actually seen him, although I have heard good things about HIM. HOWEVER if he is "your doctor" you see every doctor in the service and I was hugely unimpressed with the organization and service of that clinic. I would keep looking.... (and that is putting it mildly).
You can do a search on his clinic on here and get opinioins from many. There are a few who were happy but I think they are the minority.

Re: dr. san ramon?
Loved HIM...but like others said, since you have to go to the entire practice and cant request just him to see...I wouldnt reccomend that clinic EVER.

Re: dr. san ramon?
I was referred to him and although I liked him when I met him I A: Never saw him again B: Feel now as though he was blowing sunshine up my a** and did nothing he should have C: Saw every other doctor in the practice for the next six months and didn't like any of them. But that's just my opinion, I could be wrong

Re: dr. san ramon?
He's great!!! The best one there but as everyone said you don't always get to see him and the nurses do the sonograms and tell you what's going on!! You never have communication with the doctors!! I Like North Shore much better!!

Re: dr. san ramon?
I went to the Stony Brook office and only saw him or Dr Stelling. I didn't like Dr Cain. Dr Stelling did 2 of my IUI's and Dr San Roman did 1 of them. I got pregant on my 3rd IUI with them.
I know I am the minority but I liked their Stony Brook office.

Re: dr. san ramon?
I was not a patient of his, though I did meet him - he seemed thorough, but the clinic in Mineola was terrible...I spent a year with them doing IUIs and they never did an HSG...turns out my tubes were a mess

I know there are alot of stories on them and I sometimes wonder if I was one of the lucky ones..I dk. After 8 years of infertility---prego on first shot with ivf. It was my second Re. I usually say the head nurse but that was ok with me. The staff was awesome to me and Ii even became friends with a nurse that came and gave me my shots. I dk..I loved them--Stonybrook office.

Re: dr. san ramon?
I have to say that They helped me have 2 babies. Dr. Saketos in the Mineola office is one of the most thorough and compassionate drs. you'll ever meet. They changed my protocol 4 times b4 I got pg. 2nd time they knew what worked 4 me and it took 2 tries. Also, unlike other practices the dr. does all IUI not a nurse.

Not true - I had two IUI's out of seven done by a nurse and a PA. By the way, the PA had such a hard time I was actually in pain while he was doing the IUI.

Re: dr. san ramon?
I am currently going to Dr. San Roman's practice and all my IUI's (5) were done by the doctors.....never a nurse.
