I had an appt with her on January 4th because she delivered my DS in June and I had to reschedule with another doc. I am really bummed because she did an awesome job with my delivery. I love the practice but am debating switching.
I looked her up on the Empire site and she is with a practice in Smithtown on 25A. It wouldn't tell me the name of the practice though.

Someone said today on the posting about St. Catherine's that she is at Contemporary Women's Care near St. Catherine's now.

Nooooo.... You were the reason I went there.
She's great. She was suppose to start the Cervadil for my induction, but I ended up going into labor myself the day before. She stopped in to see me when DS was born and asked "why I couldn't wait? " She was great when I had GD too being she's a diabetic.

I really don't think I am going to switch because I really do love all of the doctors.
But she was great during my delivery! She used cervadil for my induction but didn't need the pitocin because after my water broke I went into labor on my own. She was awesome for my first post partum visit too. I am going to miss her! But I guess she ha to do what was best for her!

I have seen her recently. She did my discharge after I had my son 3 weeks ago. She is currently working for Contemporary Women's Care in Smithtown. It seems like she is going to be a permanent part of the practice now.

Re: Dr Soviero of 3Village Women's Health leaving to open new practice?
I am really sad to hear that Dr. Soviero left Three Village Women's Health. I had to have an amnio to confirm lung maturity the day before I delivered at 36 weeks. I do not know how she pulled it off but it did not hurt at all! The next day, Dr. Schoenfeld delivered my baby. Dr. Soviero and my husband talked several times about them both having insulin dependent diabetes and both using insulin pumps. I'm not planning another pregnancy but either way, I would be most comfortable staying with a practice that is affiliated with Stony Brook Hospital (no flames, I am entitled to my opinion). I hope there are not a lot more changes at Three Village Women's Health. I am a little bit concerned about how big they are getting but so far I have seen no decline in quality of service.

I agree with you about wanting to deliver at SB. That is why I was bummed that Dr, Soviero left.
