Dr. Trongone ladies...
I am in the midst of switching doctors and looking to use Dr. Trongone but I have a question. Is he always on call or does he work with a group of doctors? Someone told me that he likes to deliver all of the babies. Is this possible??

He is not with a group of Dr's....Im due in October I did ask him if he had a vacation planned then ....thank god he does not. He is so beyond wonderful!!!! You will love him....I know that he does take his vacations when he has the least women due.......(does that make sense)

Absolutely makes sense!! This man sounds like God. Its unbelievable how hes not with a group!! I love him already lol

I am also a patient of Dr. Trongone and HIGHLY recommend him! I seriously could not picture myself having a different doc. He is a One-Man show and does like to deliver all of his babies! As the pp said, he schedules his vacations for when he has the least amount of women due! I can go anyday, and he seriously put me at ease on Friday...he has the best personality, bed-side manner, the nurses are great and so are the ladies who work the desk! I can't say enough great things about all of them...especially him! I know some of the L&D nurses and they said out of all of the ob/gyn's that deliver at North Shore, he is one of their favorites, and well-liked by everyone! Good luck!

I use him and recommend him as well! I started using him back in January so I would try again. He works alone and I too was concerned about who would be there to deliver my baby, but he said that he usually takes his vacations when he has the least amount of women due. Besides, I already told him that I heard October is a terrible time to travel..heheheh =)

He has been my doctor since I'm a teenager..I love him, the nurses and staff. They are all wonderful, understanding and helpful people. I think they accept new patients as long as you are pregnant. Good luck...he is worth it!!
