Dr. Trongone's over age 35 patients
Does he always recommend amnio? When I was PG a few years ago he mentioned that if I get PG after 35 he recommends amnio. Just wondering what others have done. TIA!

Not one of his patients but I had DS at 38 and had an amnio so if you have nay questions about it let me know. I have shared my experience with many of the girls on here. I had a pretyt good experience outside of my OB being an ass!!!

I go to him but was under 35 when I gave birth. However, a friend of mine goes to him and she did give birth when she was over 35 and yes he recommended a sono(and she had one). Another friend had her son under 35 but if she would've had another it would've been over 35 and he told her that if she has another, he wants her to have an amnio.

I do not go to him. But I am 36 and instead of the amnio I chose to do the Materni T 21 test .. Its a blood test that has very accurate results. Ask him about this test, there are no risks of mc since its just giving blood.
