Dreft/Baby All vs. Perfume/dye free detergents

Are the dye/perfume free detergents safe for baby clothes? I don't really want to use Dreft, but I've also been having a hard time finding Baby All where I live. We use the perfume/dye free detergent for our clothes, but I don't know if it'll be gentle enough for the baby's things.

I used Purex Free and Clear and was told by my doctor that it was fine b/c it was hypoallergenic.

the free stuff should be fine...it's made for people who already have issues with detergents, so it should be fine for a baby who may or may not have sensitivities!Chat Icon

A detergent that is free of dyes and perfumes are actually better then Dreft since that used a perfume. To answer your question, yes, any detergent that is free is fine to use.
