What do you all think of this dress for a wedding at Oheka Castle?

Re: Dress for a wedding

IMO backless like that is a little too sexy for a wedding.

Re: Dress for a wedding

I have to say I agree with the other ladies.

This is something you save for a sexy date night where it's okay to have the spotlight on you.

I went to a wedding recently and some woman had on a dress like this and honestly, a lot of people were talking about it and not in a nice kinda way.

What made it worse for her was she was just some woman the guy brought so it looked like she was trying way too hard.

That is what I was afraid of. I love the dress but thought it might be too over the top.

Too revealing IMO.

You can find a similar dress that's more covered up.

Re: Dress for a wedding

Pretty dresses.

I wore a similar one-shoulder style with a shimmery accent to a black-tie affair.

Re: Dress for a wedding

I'm a prude -
I have a crazy conservative style and I'd never be comfortable in a dress like that ......

having said that - I don't for one second think it's "too revealing" for a black tie wedding.
It's a black gown - the front is entirely covered, no cleavage, a little leg - what's wrong w/ it being backless?
It's a beautiful gown, and IF you have to body to pull it off, I think you shold totally rock it.

Sorry, but this whole "take the spotlight off of the bride" thing is lame. What's the point of going out and getting dressed up if not to look your very best?
I'd be insulted if anyone showeed up for my wedding NOT looking their absolute best -

I think that dress is gorgeous. Where is it from? I don't find anything too revealing about it. Maybe don't stand with your hand on your hip the whole time like the model but otherwise I fully support you wearing this dress to the wedding.

OMG!!Chat Icon Chat Icon I was thinking the same thing. I would wear this to any wedding or any event. As long as it's not white, you are allowed to wear anything. Go for it!

This! It's a black tie wedding. They don't want their guests dressed trashy so the bride only looks beautiful. They want everyone dressed to the nines. I think it's perfect. Sexy without being slutty. Beautiful! It's a night out! Go for it!

Agreed. If this was short AND backless, then I'd say no.

Dress for a wedding

Idk if someone wore that to my wedding, I probably would have been pissed. It's a very attention getting dress. Very beautiful, but IMO not appropriate for a wedding.

See, I think it's beautiful. Elegant and sexy without going over the top. I think it's her "*****" face that throws it off. Put on a nice smile and not stick your leg out like that and it gives it a different look.

I don't really like the dress ( I hate the beading) but I dint think it's too sexy. I agree that it's the model, with her slutty facial expression and pose.

And seriously, I literally do not remember noticing a single thing someone was wearing at my wedding. I was focused on other things that the guests clothing. I mean it's not like a poofy white dress, it's a black gown!

Dress for a wedding

I think its hot and for my family it would be acceptable. But Latinas tend to dress sexy lol.

If you showed up to my wedding you would have gotten a compliment from me personally. I know I remarked on a couple of my guests dress and how hawt they looked!
