Has anyone heard that you should drink water at room temp? instead of with ice ????

I've heard that room temp water is more quickly absorbed / used by your body if you're dehydrated. I've also heard cold water burns more calories b/c your body has to heat it up to its temp to use it (or has to work overtime to keep your internal temp normal)... but I don't know how accurate either of these statements are. I've been drinking cold water my entire life and I'm still kicking.

Yes I have heard this - when you drink cold water, your body uses energy to warm it.
