Drive-threw vaccinations
I’m wondering if anyone knows any drive-through vaccination places within the five boroughs or Long Island that are giving the Pfizer vaccine?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Drive-threw vaccinations
Omg when I first read this I thought it said Drive thru VACATIONS. And I was like, omg the world really has lost it's mind.
To answer your actual question ... Jones Beach.

Re: Drive-threw vaccinations
How do the drive-thru vaccinations work in terms of monitoring after?
Like the typical monitoring period is 15 minutes. I had to wait 30 minutes, because I have medication allergies that I guess make me at a higher risk for an allergic reaction to the vaccine.
I'm curious as to how drive-thru locations manage this!

I went to Jones Beach on Easter. The lines were long but it went quickly and smoothly.
You are given the shot inside the tents (in your car) they have set up (four cars can fit inside the tent). You pull forward into some parking spaces and wait 15 minutes. They write on your windshield what time you can leave.

Ah, okay, got it. That makes sense. Thanks!

Drive-threw vaccinations
I had mine at Jones Beach also. Very easy, right in the car. I was fortunate and no wait at all either day. I do have a history of severe allergies, so had to stay the 30 minutes after, and they did come over to check on me.
