Dropping NAP TIME

In order to prepare the children for Kindergarten, daycare/summer camp no longer has nap timeChat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

My child is out the door with me a 6:15am and we get home around 4/4:30pm- its a LONG day.

Generally he goes to bed between 8/8:30, but see for the past 2 (non-napping @ daycare) days- he has taken a 5pm NAP at home... and getting him to bed by 9:30 was a challenge last night.

Today when we left school, he cried and cried he didn't feel good... he walked in the house, went straight to the couch and fell asleep... When he woke up, he was fine... His body probably hurt from exhaustion!!!!

If I could get him to skip the nap and get him to bed by 7pm- I bet it would make a world of difference, but I just cant get him to stay awake...

PLEASE HELP!

PS- I tried to take him with me on my lunch break, just to give him a cat nap in the car... Im so desperate!!!!!
