When did your DC start taking just 1 nap or dropping naps altogether?
9.5m DS currently takes 1 morning and 1 afternoon nap. This weekend I was really surprised that this 14m old didn't take naps at all and slept 7-7. What a dream!
When did your DC drop to 1 nap or no naps?

My 12 month olds are still taking 2 naps, and honestly to me, no naps are a nightmare, not a dream!
I need that time during the day to myself and am dreading when they drop 1 nap let alone altogether.
And to be honest, I don't think a 14 mo should be going without any naps. 12 hrs of sleep total is not enough for a baby that age. My DC sleep 12 hours or more at night and take 2 1.5-2hr naps. They would be besides themselves without naps. Most kids are napping until around age 3, maybe even later. They need that sleep.

My DD dropped to one nap around 13-14 months and still takes one at 19.

i would not be happy about no nap!!!! That is definitely not a dream to me. I need my time! 
Ds is 18 months old and takes 1 nap that i'm hoping continues until he's 5.

DS is 25 months and he dropped to 1 nap around a year. He has had spurts with no nap recently, but he generally still naps 1.5-2 hours a day.
He gets up around 7, goes to bed at 8-8:30.

You are totally right! I need that nap time. WHat was I thinking saying that was a dream.
I am still curious when kids drop to 1 nap.

We went to one nap around 9 months. She just kept fighting the morning one and we finally realized she didn't need it. But her afternoon nap increased to 2-2.5 hours at that point.
Now dropping naps altogether came sooner than I thought. I imagined we would go to three years old but 2.75 and she started fighting them. Finally after two weeks of real resistance I decided to take the plunge and drop them. She falls asleep so much better now.

allison recently dropped her 2nd nap. she dropped it at 11-11.5 months old. i miss it  .

My DD is 15 months old and still takes 2 naps a day. She goes down in the morning exactly 2hrs. after she wakes up for a 2hr. nap and then she takes an afternoon nap around 4pm for an hour to an hour and a half. She goes to bed for the night at 8:15 and STTN until 7-7:30.

When DS was:
2-10 months: 2x20 minute naps. (I was mad with frustration)
10 months-26 months: one nap for about 2 hours in the early afternoon (Glorious!)
26 months-present (28 months): no more naps  (Well, sometimes he may fall asleep in the car, but don't we all? )
He has always slept well at night, so that was good. But since I work overnights, I was desperate for that midday nap.

I pretty much made DS drop his AM nap...he didnt SEEM to need it so I just didnt nap him one day and he was fine so I went with it! He was 12 months old.
But I consider his current schedule a dream....he naps for 1-2 hours in the afternoon and them sleeps from 9-8/9
Personally not only does a 14 month old need to nap for their own development but there was a period in October when DS was fighting his nap, and I told my MIL that DS and I could not co-exist all day without nap time.
At 2 DS never stops, never sits still, never stops talking, etc....MOMMY NEEDS NAPTIME!!!

DD is 3.5 and most days still takes 1 nap a day. )2-3 hrs) although, the past few weeks the nap is hiot or miss.

DD is just about 10 months and 2 naps here also....my niece just turned 3 and still takes a nap every day - about 2-3hrs

DD dropped down to one nap by herself around 11 months. Her nap is usually around 1pm and she sleeps for 2-3 hours.

I don't remember when it dropped down from 2 to 1. But my boys are almost 3 and a half and still need a nap. Some days they won't take it, but then from 5-7 it is not very funny in my household. If they do take a nap I let them stay up until 8, otherwise its a struggle to get to 7.
So they definately still need a nap, whether they take it depends on the day.

She went down to one nap around14-16 months. They were only about 45 minutes though and now at 22 months she's dropped them all together. But she does sleep from 7-7/7:30 at night so I can't complain.

 Me too! Maybe because we have twins. My kids are mostly dropped to one nap-they started fighting the afternoon nap and I really didn't want to keep them up later-as it is my DH and i have about 3 hours together. So they nap in the AM until 12-12:30 then go to sleep around 6:45. Sometimes they will take an afternoon nap from 2:30-3:30 or so and go to bed a tiny bit later but not usually. They sleep until at least 8AM

At 10 - 12 months, it was one nap, and by 18 months they were DONE. None of mine were great nappers.
