another metformin question. Is it ok to take gasx?

I lived on Mallox plus. It is an antacid with gas relief. You have to be careful about anti diarrhea meds but I was told anti gas is ok to use.

really? I have taken immodium many times since being on the met... no one ever told me to stay away from it - what could happen?

Hi ladies..
i just talked to my dr and they said it was fine to take, gas x, immudium etc..
thank goodness since i have been having a rough time so far...hopefully it will pass soon.
