Dry skin on face
Can anyone recommend anything (from the drugstore) for dry skin on the face?
I've had dry skin over the winter, mostly on my eyelids, etc but ever since I started going to the swimming pool at night and the winter getting more harsh the flakey/dry skin has been getting worse and over more of my face.
I was going to goto RiteAid and stand in the lotions aisle for a bit and play eenie-meanie-miney-mo but I figured you guys would have the best recommendations.
TIA!

Re: Dry skin on face
My eyelids and under my eyes have been flakey lately!! It's so annoying and painful from being so dry. I've actually had to use CHAPSTICK because I'll notice it at work and it's all I've got!
I *just* bought Neutrogena Ageless Essentials Continuous Hydration EYE at CVS during lunch ... we'll see how it works.

Eucerin or Cetaphil, although I prefer the first one

I actually go to sleep with a little vaseline or aquaphor on the dry spots & it's not flaky in the morning

Well, it goes on nicely and doesn't sting or anything (which I was worried about). I put it on last night and this morning so we'll see how it goes.

Thanks for being the tester.
I notice today my face is so itchy - I never noticed this before; not sure if it was and I just wasnt paying attention, or if its getting worse.

Re: Dry skin on face
I got the gold bond ultimate healing 'extra concentrated' cream.
I put it on at lunch, and it is much thicker than i expected. I wish it was thinner, easier to put on but I'll deal. Maybe because it is the ultra concentrated version.

Re: Dry skin on face
I use Eucerin in the tub. It worked great on the dry patches I got during pregnancy. It does go on thicker though. I actually liked that
