DS 8 days old .. no bm since monday
I called peditrician and they said to bring him in tommorow if he doesnt go by today. I cant stop crying i feel so bad for him. I see him pushing and he just looks uncomfortable. He is still eating and sleeping but i just feel bad. Any suggestions to help him along. My poor little guy.

My DS has been constipated since about 2 weeks old. To help him go, I give him a 1/2 oz. of prune juice 1 x a day in a bottle. I wouldnt do this unless your dr. tells you. You could also try using a thermometer. This always helps my little guy go. Hang in there!

i used the thermometer trick for my little girl for a couple weeks...dr said it's normal for babies to not go for 3-4 days, but i couldn't stand seeing her try and not be able to go...it worked and she was happy afterwards so i was happy too

Thermometer definitely works- Is she on formula? That can constipate. You can also try pedialax. My Dr told me after 48 hrs but I have used it sooner than that.
