DS has first cold
Harrison has his first cold. He is just about 6 months and has had a lingering cough all week. It sounds like it is in his chest, but he will cough for a little bit and then it passes for a few hours and comes again. He is eating, sleeping etc and doesn't have a fever.....will it just pass?? I feel so bad for him. Anyone give them anything this young?
I have a call into my doctor.....

Re: DS has first cold
My DD has her 1st cold right now as well. She is currently 5 1/2 mos. We brought her the DR yesterday and she told us it was ok to giver her dimetapp (1/4 teaspoon) every 8 hrs, saline nose spray to water and loosen any phlem. She also said to let her sleep with the cool mist humidifier.
You can (until you speak with your DR) put a little vicks babyrub on their chest & back.
I know... it really stinks when they're sick.
