DS needs a new car seat! Anyone have the Graco Nautilus Plus 3-in-1? or the Britax Frontier Combination?
I am looking for a combination seat that can turn into a booster so I need help choosing between these two. They both have equally good reviews. I like the Graco because it looks to be more comfortable with the extra padding near the head area & will be great for him to rest his head on it to nap but I like the Britax because it isn't so bulky.

Have and really like the Nautilus. My only complaint is the buckle strap doesn't come out far enough and it ends up under DS when he is sitting, which may be uncomfortable for some (or as they get older).

Have and really like the Nautilus. My only complaint is the buckle strap doesn't come out far enough and it ends up under DS when he is sitting, which may be uncomfortable for some (or as they get older).
Us too, word for word.

ooh, that kind of stinks. How old are both of your kids? DS is 3 & I'm hoping this seat will last us the entire time that he will need to be in a seperate seat. What is that again - 7years old?

DC is in elem school and we still use it now wit the reg seatbelt and not the 5pt harness.

I have the Argos and like it. It's more difficult to fasten than my Britax and the crotch strap is too far back but its good for the price. DS is 3.

I have the britax and love it.
IMO, it's even better than the convertible britax in terms of ease in & out of car. A lot less bulky than most and the harness works very well.

I just switched my 2 and a half year old into the Britax Frontier Harness to Booster....LOVE!!! It's much more roomy than a typical convertible carseat and still has all of the tried and true safety features! FYI...it's cheaper at Babies R US online, but Buy Buy Baby matched the price...I asked!

Thanks for the pricing tip! How comfortable is your DC in this seat when he naps? We are always driving & my DS always falls asleep in the car. This car seat doesn't have much for him to lean his head on when he falls asleep but I guess we can get one of those neck support pillows or something.

Does the Britax Frontier have a short buckle strap? I went to see this in person but I can't remember. The Britax Marathan that we currently have has a short buckle strap & I find it pretty annoying.

My dd is a car sleeper also! I suggest something for around their necks, because she does kee falling forward, which I totally annoying to me, but she doesn't wake up so I'm assuming it doesn't bother her much! I love the straps, no problems whatsoever!
