DSLR Camera people, Specifically Canon, I have a question
My dad got his wife a canon EOS Rebel T5 DSLR camera for Christmas. Is t his the same as the T5i? Will accessories for the T5i fit the T5 if they are not the same? Please help. TIA!!

Here is a comparison:
T5 vs T5i
ETA: It looks like the accessories are standard for most Canon models. If you look at accessories kits on amazon it shows that most are compatible with several models (incl. T5 and T5i)
ETA again:
"The Canon Rebel EOS Rebel T5 camera is also compatible with the full line of Canon EF and EF-S lenses as well as other accessories like the new Macro Ring Lite MR-14EX II. Ideal for close-up photography with EF Macro lenses, the Macro Ring Lite MR-14EX II supports E-TTL wireless autoflash in conjunction with one or more Canon Speedlite 600EX-RT flash units. "
