Duke needs a home UPDATED with some info
A friend of mine needs some help. She is heartbroken b/c the dog's owner can't give him the care he needs. She wodl love to take him but she already has 3 dogs and 4 kids of her own. This was her e-mail to me:
Meet Duke. He's an Old English Bulldog (almost 2) and needs a loving home. He's got all his shots but unfortunately his owner doesn't have the time to be home to take care of this sweet bully. If anyone's interested please let me know and I'll send you more info. Please pass it along if you know anyone who wants a new friend.
Thanks for letting me pass this along hopefully someone out there will take him home. Fingers crossed!!!

He's a very lovable dog and needs attention...as an old english bull dogs do)
He is the only dog in the household so I don't how he is with others but his temperment is extremely good.
The bottom line is that the owner is single and he works a lot of hours and can't give the dog the time of day.
The dog is full bred and was $3,000 but yours for free!
I am posting this for my friend. She knows the owner and she is so heartbroken for the dog.
Hopefully someone will want him.
Please say a prayer!

How much does he weigh? Does he get along with ther dogs? Kids? Personality? Housebroken?

I am in love with this dog. I have a friendly Bullmastiff already. But I would love this guy. Got to talk to DH and I def. have questions as far as temperament, housebreaking, neutering....

We are a member of the Mayor's Alliance for NYC Animals. I have sent an email requesting contact for Bull Dog Rescue, perhaps they will accept the dog.
