dumb bottle and crib questions
what is a "drop in" for the baby bottle? I read that it is a sterile liner. Does this go inside a regular plastic bottle, or is there a special bottle for this?
For the pack n play, do you need to buy a sheet for the mattress/basinett part? Does it come with one? Same question if the pnp comes with a changing pad - does this need a liner? I am assuming the bassinett and changing pad are removable. So, that would mean the child can play inside (like a playpen) but is the bottom of the play yard comfortable for the child? Is there a pad on the bottom?
TIA

Re: dumb bottle and crib questions
drop ins are liners for a certain kind of playtex bottle. some people love them and some hate them.
yes you will need sheets for the pnp. the sheet will fit the mattress when it is raised in the bassinet position or flat in the bottom of the pnp. we used lap pads to line the changing pad part.
and, no, those aren't dumb questions. there is so much baby gear out there!

Agreed! Ask away, this stuff is so confusing!
I used the Playtex Drop Ins with DS because it meant less bottle washing - you can just toss the liners or rinse them and recycle them. The bottles themselves have no bottom - it's like a shell. The nipples and rings still have to be washed each time like a regular bottle.
