dumb question - if you go to the doc for a pg test..
Does s/he tell you same day or do you have to wait a few days for the results?
NO - I AM IN NO POSSIBLE WAY PG. This is to settle an argument with a friend, LOL!
The assumption is that the person is only about a week and a half late... if that matters.

My RE's office would tell you same day because they had their own lab. My OB's office would take a day or two

A blood test or a pee test? My doctor just confirmed with her own verision of an HPT, I never had a blood test to confirm my pregnancy.

Like everyone else said, if it's a in-house lab, you get them back that day.
If not, it's 2-3 days.

I took a blood test at a regular physical and found out the results the next day. My OBs office just did a urine test and confirmed right then.

My RE orders blood stat and tells you the same day. They also do pee tests and will tell you in that moment...
