Dumb question about refrigerating formula...
If I mix a bottle of formula and put it in the fridge do I have to warm it up before I give it to DD or can I give it to her cold?

Re: Dumb question about refrigerating formula...
My SIL gave my nieces formula/bm from the fridge cold from day 1 & never had any problems.
Personally I'd heat it up in a glass of warm water to take the chill out but that's just me.

Re: Dumb question about refrigerating formula...
I always make my bottles on the spot with room temperature water so if I was to give DD a bottle from the fridge, I would run it under warm water just to get the chill out of it, but I would not heat it up, kwim?

Re: Dumb question about refrigerating formula...
Ive given cold bottles-it won't hurt them :)
I've also warmed bottles in the microwave to take chill off, just make sure you shake it to get rid of any possible hot spots.
Mostly i give room temp though

Re: Dumb question about refrigerating formula...
I have to heat it up because Lily refuses to drink cold formula. She squirms and spits it out. I have a bottle warmer that doesn't really warm the formula, just takes the cill out, and that's all she really needs.

Re: Dumb question about refrigerating formula...
I usually warm it up in a mug of hot water. Not hot, hot but room temp.

Re: Dumb question about refrigerating formula...
I take it out of the fridge and have a small pot right to my sink. I put hot water in the pot and keep the bottle in there for about two minutes to take the chill out.
