Dutch Wonderland Trip & Review (pics)
Last Sunday we went to Dutch Wonderland in Lancaster for a few days--what a GREAT place for little ones. It was clean with great rides (even for my 4 month old who could ride with us). They even had a separate water park area.
Kids 2 & under are free & w/ your ticket (adults) you get 3 hour preview the night before. There's also a ton of restaurants right down the block from there (they stamp your hand if you leave at lunch--there's also a picnic area)For the shoppers, there's Tangers outlets across the street.
On the way, we stopped at the Hands On House museum which was SUPER. I wish they had something close to it on LI (LICM is okay, but this really was fun). They had a grocery area where you pick a card & then go & find the food it says & then ring it up; they had Gracie's fave...where you pick velcro'd corn off the wall & feed to a fake pig or put in the basket; a pirate ship/dress up area; factory w/ lots of hands on; whack a germ; face painting & then an outdoor garden to explore.

Awesome pics !! Looks like a great time...We had toyed with going this year, but didn't know the baby could go on some things...Maybe we still will try !

I love your pics Cindy! Those Amish statues are still there??? I took pictures with them when I was about 5 years old...I just had a total flashback when I saw them.

Awww! It looked like Gracelyn had so much fun! My SIL and I are planning on taking our families there and to Hershey in the spring so I'll have to remember to ask you about the Hands On House.
