Dutch wonderland water park question
So explain this waterpark to me. DS is 20 months old, 32ish inches. He won't go on rides by himself, we have to go with him. Do i need to bring bathing suits? Is there anything for him to do in dukes lagoon?

Dutch Wonderland isn't a water park, it is like a smaller amusement park with lots of rides. He will be able to go on a lot by himself and also with you. DS was 2.5 and DD was 15 months when we went, they both had a blast.
Duke's Lagoon is in the park but on the edge. I was SO MAD we didn't bring suits for Duke's Lagoon. IMO your DS will love it! It's more of a wave pool with sprinklers and possibly a lazy river (I can't remember exactly) - the big slides are in the back. We walked through a bit and it was so nice and clean and looked like so much fun.

Duke's Lagoon is a pretty much a sprinkler park. Your son will love it if he likes water. There are slides that he might like, DS at two loved them this year, but wasn't thrilled with them last year. There is one big waterslide that you can take your son on with you. DS did it and liked it. No wave pool or lazy river, mostly just sprinkles and slides.

I don't get it, do adults need suits? or if I wear capris and water shoes, if I can get away with it?

Sorry should have clarified, I knew the water park part is just part of it.
That does sound like it would be perfect for DS. I am glad I asked, I'll pack our bathing suits!

I haven't been yet, but if it's like a sprinkler park, I will be wearing my bathing suit with board shorts. That way I will be covered, but should dry quickly. I might just wear that to the park that day with a t shirt on top, take the tshirt off to go into duke's lagoon. Easy peasy. No needing to change first.

Wear a bathing suit. You will get wet.

You definitely want to wear bathing suits and water shoes - it's an open space with water shooting up from the ground, with lots of kids everywhere.
Picture of my DD and DH 2 years ago. I really wish we had a chance to go this year.. it was a great trip.
