Dyson V8 animal +
So I got this as a gift and I LOVE it. Best vacuum. My issue is it seems to scratch easily when I go under beds or other furniture. DH thinks it's me bc I do have a hard hand when it comes to cleaning. LOL I have scratched molding before and other furniture cleaning. Whoops. I am a big cleaner and tend to hit things... sometimes. LOL
But this vacuum seems to scratch pretty easily. Is it me or does someone else have the same one and have some scratches? Thanks

I have the V10 and it scratches VERY easily. It's such a cool little machine, but looks beat up already.

I have the 7 I think or maybe the 8, not sure. But yes mine has scratches. I mean it also doesn’t help that we never hung it up and sometimes it takes a beating from falling.
I hate it dies so quickly. I heard the new ones last longer but we just bought ours several months ago.

Yes. Ours is supposed to last 40 mins. I haven't gotten there yet. LOL

The purple is already scratched off and I got it a month or so ago.

Are you talking about the vacuum scratching parts of your home or the vacuum itself getting scratched?
Either way, sorry no answer just stalking anything about Dysons lol.
I have had terrible luck with (various non Dyson) vacuums and I'm wondering if it's worth it to just splurge now that I have a dog that sheds everywhere.

It's awesome! I do love the vacuum, but as everyone else is saying.. it does scratch easily.
Oh, and yes I have scratched the molding before, but not with the Dyson. That heavy Shark. Ugh!

It is worth it! Splurge. We have the V10 animal and I use it multiple times a day (3 kids-all of us at home). I have never spent this much on a vacuum but I feel it was well worth it. And the reason we got it we saw it at a friend’s house over Christmas break with her kids and her dog and yes even better for pets that sheds!
