Early pregnancy cramping. Normal or not?
So I am just about 5 weeks. My sono is in 2 weeks. I remember being very crampy with dd but ofcourse I cant remember what it felt like.
I have this consistent dull ache, throb only on my right side. It has been there all day long and does not seem to be subsiding at all. I remember I had a corpus luteum cyst with dd and thinking maybe thats what this is but then my sick and crazy mind goes to ectopic. Wondering if I should be "that" patient and call my dr. What do you think?

Nothing wrong with calling your doctor if you are concerned although lots of women experience cramping early on... drink more water (something I need to be reminded of on a regular basis) and see what happens. If it doesn't get better call your doctor.

Early pregnancy cramping. Normal or not?
I had a ton of cramping early on and that's where the majority of my pressure is now at 30 weeks

completely normal. go ahead and call if it will make you feel better, however, like pp said, drink more water and relax a bit if you can and see if it goes away.

Same but it was never to a specific side. When I was early PG it was all over cramping. Any cramping I had on a specific side was when I was O'ing.

I cramped pretty much my entire pregnancy. Sometimes AF like cramps and sometimes shooting pains.

Re: Early pregnancy cramping. Normal or not?
I'm starting to have dul cramps all across my lower abdomen... it's just our uterus stretching to make room! If you have pain, that's a different story. In that case, I would call your OB to be on the safe side.

Re: Early pregnancy cramping. Normal or not?
I had a lot of cramping with my DD. I started at 5DPO and it didn't really subside until I was about 12 weeks along. Mine felt like dull menstrual cramps across my whole abdomen, I kept running to the bathroom to make sure AF was staying away.
I am sure you're fine but if you're really concerned it can never hurt to call the OB, just in case.
