East Coast Vacation Ideas
So I need to book a trip..somewhere...anywhere but no flights and we are based on long island so no further than 6/8 hours drive. We live out east so no Montauk suggestions :)
Kids are 15 and 12.
Would prefer a house rental but open to resorts that have stand alone cottages etc.
Where are your favorites spots in NYS / Maine / NH / Vermont/ Mass / PA etc?

Love Maine. York, Kennebunkport and Oguinquit are all within your driving range.
White Mountains NH is beautiful

I love Cape May NJ. Very quaint and a lot of history and cute 19th century homes.
Great beaches too
They have plenty of homes to rent there if you want to rent a house.
We always stay in a hotel though
