Eating and Sleeping questions?

My newborn is 5weeks old and on Similac.

How often does your baby eat? Mine is on every 4 hours? Does that sound normal?

How many hours does your newborn sleep?

DD was eating every 2-4 hours and sleeping the same at 5wks

At 5 weeks DD was still eating whenever the heck she felt like it because I was nursing, but that's when I started to get her on a 3-hour schedule. By 8 weeks I was trying to shift her to a 4-hour schedule so I would assume you've just saved yourself that headache.

Eating every 2 1/2 to 3 hours and sleeping is a totally different story.

Sometimes he would not nap all day and be a constant fuss, sometimes he would nap for 2-3 hours at a time and seem to be sleeping all day except for when he was eating.
