Ebay Question: Seller Standards: Has anyone ever received an e-mail like this?
I sell quite often on ebay. I use USPS flat rate shipping and don't charge over and I also ship within three days (usually faster) so I am perplexed as to why I got this e-mail from ebay today:
We're writing to let you know that your account is below our seller performance standards on eBay.com or eBay Motors.
One or more of the following factors have contributed to this change: -- Low detailed seller ratings (1s and 2s) -- Negative and neutral Feedback -- Buyer Protection cases opened for items not as described or items not received
Please be aware that your listings may receive lower standing in search results until our minimum standards are met and your account may be subject to a selling limit.
I had one negative feedback in the past year and it was my fault, so I deserved it, but I don't have any buyer protection cases open or ever opened against me.
I'm confused!
What does this mean for me as a seller.
Sorry this turned out to be so long.

i think you should talk to ebay directly and ask for the exact reasons why you got it...
1 negative feedback doesnt seem like enough to get this letter... and i assume you would be aware of any Buyer Protection case that is opened against you!!!

Have you received any negative feedback or had cases opened that weren't resolved?
ETS: Was this message sent to your ebay inbox or just an email? If it's just an email, then chances are it's fake.
