EBF mom of 8-9 month olds
Can you estimate about how many ounces of BM your DC gets in a day?

No clue. Whatever it is, it is enough for them.

Re: EBF mom of 8-9 month olds
Hi!!! How are those naps going?!
Anyway - I don't think there is any real way for us to know how much milk our babies are really getting. DD has 5 feedings per day - 2 are directly from me - the first morning and the before bed feeding. The other 3 are bottles that I have pumped since I work full time. Between the 3 bottles she gets about 12-13oz. She gets a 3.5oz bottle after her breakfast and frequently will only drink 1.5oz. Then her afternoon bottle is about 5oz and she downs it. Then her late afternoon bottle is about 4.5oz and she finishes that too. Then she eats her dinner and has her before bed feeding. I guess if I had to estimate I think she takes about 6-7oz in the morning and maybe about 3.5oz at the bedtime feeding - when I am away for the bedtime feeding I leave a 3.5oz bottle and sometimes she finishes it and sometimes she doesn't.
I am sure you are looking at how many ounces FF babies drink and are worried that your baby is not getting enough. But formula is TOTALLY different than BM. I am sure in another 2 months your DS will be down to probably 2, maybe 3 feedings per day. As you are feeding them food, they are replacing the BM with the food. It's OK - as long as they are happy, growing, and sleeping, they are getting enough!

HI...the naps aren't going so well...haha...
DS seems to want to nurse A LOT...he's not that into solids...prefers to nurse..
I think my supply is down a little and he may be making up for it by nursing more often, but I am worried about how much he is getting...
And I don't even know what to do with solids...he cries to be nursed...

DS gets 3 5.5-6 oz bottles at daycare. He doesn't always finish them. He also nurses once in the morning before daycare.

Molly was still not on much food. I don't recall the amounts but i was able to produce it with 5-6 pumps per day 30 minutes each time- sometimes a bit longer.

4 to 4.5 oz bottles every 2 - 3 hrs (he is 9 mo old) and I use the slowest flow nipples!
