EBF Moms of babies 10mos +
I know that my sons are healthy and am not worried weight wise, but i'm worried that they aren't nursing enough anymore. They are content, great weights and have wet diapers...but they aren't SOAKING wet like they used to be when they were younger. Could this be because they are just holding in their urine more the older they get? They nurse 4-5 times a day.....I still feel let downs but they don't nurse for long. It's only a couple of minutes. They have never been long nursers, but i'm just nervous that they aren't getting enough. They also have a sippy cup all day with either a little milk in it or water for practice.
Is it normal at this age?

DS is only 9 months, but he's down to nursing 4 times per day. Babies become more efficient at nursing and digesting the milk so that could be why the boys are nursing less and don't have extremely wet diapers. My pediatrician also said babies may become less interested in BFing as they move onto more table foods. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Totally normal. Eliza sometimes just nurses 2-3 times a day. She's in the 90th percentile for everything, has plenty of dirty diapers, so I'm not concerned.
At this point she's more interested in solids. She's also on a sippy so she gets pumped milk in that on the days that she doesn't want to nurse.
