Who was with you the day of your retrieval??
I am torn right now on if it should just be DH & I...My parents live OOT & will be coming in to assist when I am on bedrest but do you think it is necessary for them to be here the day of ER???

Re: Egg Retrieval Day Question
Only DH was there. My retrieval was on a Sunday, so I rested for the day and went back to work on Monday.
How long are you on bedrest?
good luck!

After the ER, they are telling me as long as I am up to it,I can go back to work the next day. My parents will be in town for the transfer back as I am on bedrest for 2 days & DH has to work...

Re: Egg Retrieval Day Question
DH only for me....he also had to provide a "sample" that day, so not sure how awkward that would be for DH kwim ??? Good luck
ETA- Sorry, I think I misunderstood your question ( I thought you meant at the ER itself- oops ) I just took it easy after ER, but really didnt do anything differently- after ET was when I really rested

Re: Egg Retrieval Day Question
Well both times it was both DH and my mom because 1st time, DH had to have TESE so neither of us could drive and 2nd time thankfully he didn't need the TESE but my mom was there as a backup. If you have no issues w / TESE then I think all you need is your DH unless you want your mom there for moral support.

Re: Egg Retrieval Day Question
You will be fine with just your DH the day of the retrieval. If your parents go, I am thinking they will probably have to wait in the main office waiting room so it's not really beneficial for them to go. Tell them to stay home and cook you up a good lunch!
