Eggplant Parm?
Okay, so everyone that I talk to about me not wanting to be induced mentions Eggplant Parm.
Is there a particular recipe for this magical dish or will any Eggplant Parm do?
Other than that I have: walking, sex, spicy foods, squats, nipple stimulation, acupressure points.
Anything else? (I won't do the castor oil thing.)

my mom said a bunch of people told her chinese food helps.....
go get some kung pao chicken!!!!

I have had TONS of eggplant parm, caponata and NOTHING.
I read that you should NOT do the nipple stimulation because it could be bad for the baby (i read it on babycenter.com)

I had Lamaze yesterday and our instructor swore by nipple stimulation... she suggested taking a rough towel, twisting and swiping back and forth against the nipples....... eating the special eggplant parm recipe sounds like a lot more fun...........

I had chinese food the night I went into labor but I was having pain before I ate it!

I don't think it's so much eating eggplant - it's the process of making it that sparks labor. Being on your feet for so long will help - Just like walking.

But it has supposedly worked for women who eat it in the restaurant. So that theory doesn't really work.
Not that I'm sure I believe it at all!

I had eggplant parm 2 days before I went into labor - lost my mucos plug that night........any my baby was 3.5 weeks early

Hmmmmm never heard of this one...but now I know what I have to buy myself the next time I go to UNCLE GIUSEPPES...not to send me into Labor just b/c it sounds so yummy.
