Eghhh- would I know if it was broken?
Ryan was dancing around the living room (aka spinning around in circles) when he lost his balance and hit his face into my coffee table.
Immediately he got a small bruise on the bridge of his nose-
I wrestled with him to put ice on it for about a half an hour and slowly he got 2 small new bruises on the sides of his nose...
He no longer is crying and while he wont let me touch I have seen him rub it (to rub his eyes or wipe his nose) and he doesn't wince or anything...
Im on the fence about just taking him to the ER to have it x-rayed but DH keeps telling me Im overreacting (which Ill admit- when it comes to my child- I panic over EVERYTHING)
Would I "know" if it was broken?

Mariss, I just asked Chris (he's an EMT) and he said it sounds broken

Will they do anything for a broken nose?

It happened today, right?
If it did, he said to wait til tomorrow and if he has "raccoon eyes" then to take him to the ER.
He said that they do something for a broken nose, it just depends on how bad it is broken

I just took pics-if I FM them to you can you have him take a look?
Wouldnt it still be bothering him though?
There is no bump and its not crooked or anything...
