We left there. I wasn't a fan of his bed side manner. i also didn't care for the fact he made me feel like an idiot for wanting to delay the MMR when ds was 15 months old.
That said, many rave about him. I wasnt a fan.

Re: Eisenberg Pediatrics
I use them. I think he's really nice and extremely thorough. My DD cries the entire time until he's almost done, and then she warms up. He's patient with her crying, tries to win her over, but doesn't waste time trying... Which I like bc I'd rather just get on with it. Now she seems to like him more. She's 2. The PA is really nice too. The office is efficient, never a long wait or trouble getting an appointment.
My only issue was in the beginning when DD had a milk allergy and I was EBF and he wanted me to give formula while the milk cleared my system and he acted like it wasn't a big deal-it was a huge deal to me- but I think a lot of peds sadly aren't as versed in BFing as they should be...at least that's what I've heard about the others in the same area as Dr. E. So I sought BFing advice elsewhere and stuck with the practice. I went on the BF DD until she was 2.
(I believe in following the Drs schedule w/vaccinations, so I had no problems in that aspect)

We use him and I love him. He is very thorough, he can be overly cautious but I like that with a doctor (especially for my kids). He sent us to a cardiologist after he heard a murmur in DD's heart, and cardiologist found 2 pin sized holes in her heart (which have since closed up on their own). I delayed the MMR vaccine and he did 'lecture' me on the fact that there is no evidence of a link between the vaccine and autism, but I just let it go in one ear and out the other. It is my decision.

I love him I find him to be so sweet and nice- and really good with the kids. There is also a female Dr in the practice who I find very sweet and nice too. They have a female NP as well. I really like the whole staff there and never had an issue with them. We never have a problem getting a same day sick visit either. I also follow his vaccine schedule so that is not an issue with me.

We use him. DD1 can't stand the other Dr he has there, Patel. And it seems like anytime the kids are sick that's who we end up with. She loves Eisenberg though. He can come off a little pushy, but he is very thorough. DD2 can't stand him, but doesn't mind Patel, ugh. They both love the NP, Nicole though. She's great! My biggest complaint is that there isn't a wait to get called into the exam room, but lately I've been waiting 1/2 hour - 45 min in the exam room for either Patel or Eisenberg.

That's so funny bc DD and I both LOVE Patel and never seem to get her...I was actually starting to wonder if she was still there.
The front desk girls aren't overly friendly, but having been a front desk girl for a pediatric ENT myself, I cut them all the slack in the world! There job is MUCH harder than we can imagine!
I always find them extremely helpful when I call with a question or bc I need them to fax paperwork to a specialist.

Re: Eisenberg Pediatrics
Thank you all so much
Once I deliver, I just have one of the nurses call his office to have him check my LO right? When I called a few months back, they told me to do that... and for some reason Im still worried my LO is going to be born and no one is going to come to the hospital to see her lol

I delivered at St Charles (he's not affiliated), so the hospital just had me pick a random ped to see DD kn the hosptial. Then, when we were discharged I called Dr. Eisenberg and they fit her in the next day.

Re: Eisenberg Pediatrics
I love him. He found something that was going on with my daughter that her old ped. missed and things are so, so much better for her now. He is so thorough, and takes his time, and that is why my daughter is healthier now that she was for 18 months of her life. He explored every avenue when 2 other doctors just brushed off my concerns and we finally have a diagnosis of what was wrong.

Yes, they will ask you who the pediatrician is and you give them his name. I never met with him prior to DD being born, and he came up to my room to meet me and DH after DD was born and he checked her out. (I delivered at Southside)
