Electric car anyone?

We are looking for a 3rd car. I have the SUV for the room and kids, DH has his work truck and we have a Toyota Prius for our 3rd. We leased the Prius and use it for long drives, in the city, etc. I mainly use the SUV for local driving around taking the kids places. DH uses ithe prius a lot for his errands or going on estimates, etc
We bought the SUV for a great price a few months ago knowing the Prius will be up soon.
Now the Prius lease is going to be up DH says we still need another car bc he can't use his work truck for stuff while I have the SUV with the kids. He was considering the electric car. He needs it for runnning around for work especially when the work van is full or just needs something smaller.
It's a great price too and never have to pay for gas ever again. We know it has to get plugged in every night but that's no big deal.
He likes either the ford focus or Nissan leaf.
Any thoughts?

Bump
