Electric Fireplaces- Where to Buy?
Has anyone seen them around locally? I know HD sells them and I saw a few at Bobs. I've researched online as well but just haven't really fell in love with any of them. I am looking for one to put my TV on. TIA!

Electric Fireplaces- Where to Buy?
Last November i bought a beautiful one at lowes. I'll try and post pic later
Eta: I really wanted to see it in person and see the flame. It's very realistic. FYI, some of the "flames" look so fake on some models. Stores like lowes and HD start carrying them now for the fall/winter.

I got mine online from wayfair. I couldn't find anything in the stores that I loved. I get a lot of compliments on it.

Are these fireplaces very efficient when it comes to electricity?mi wonder if it's worth getting one of these to avoid using so much oil this year

I got mine at Sears. I LOVE it. But, it's very small. I got it that way because I have small house. They had different sizes.

I don't know if they are rated energy efficient. But, I think using electricity is better than oil. They make a difference. My DH and I were forever having a the thermostat battle and he always turned it down on me to save oil. Now I barely every touch it. I just put on the fireplace.
