Electric Stove Owners
DH cooked last night and he got butter all over the coils on the top range. I've never had an electric stove before and I can't seem to get it clean. Any ideas? Thanks!

Re: Electric Stove Owners
try just some warm water. Do you have the manual? maybe it has cleaning instructions in it
when I spill, sometimes it just has to cook/burn off which will smell like it's burning.

Re: Electric Stove Owners
i have one of those flat top electric stoves... but i grew up with electric with the coils... did you take the coils off the stove? they should just pop right out... i would just let them soak in warm soapy water for awhile..... then dry them well and put them back in.... i've had to do that before and didn't have any problems...
