elem teachers: are you celebrating grandparent's day?
It is so close to the start of school....will you be doing anything special for it?

I don't, only bc we have a Grandperson's Day celebration in the spring where the kids perform for the grandparents then they come to the classroom for a snack and to spend some time with their grandchild.

no. i haven't seen it celebrated at all.
many kids don't have grandparents. some schools may have "special persons day" to celebrate anyone special to the kid.
just like with father's day...a lot of my kids don't have fathers so they can make their projects/cards for any male that is special to them.
