Elevated FSH at start of IVF
My FSH is "slightly" elevated at 12.1. They said they will keep an eye on it but to start stimming. I am really worried about the elevated level and they don't even have me coming back in until Saturday so that makes me even more nervous.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. There are plenty of women that start off with elevated FSH when starting IVF. The thing they are going to keep an eye on is how well you resond to the stimming. Women with elevated FSH are at risk for producing fewer eggs during an IVF cycle.

OK well I asked them and my fsh was 6 last month so may be this was just a fluke. I am going to try to relax about this and get through this the best I can.

This happened to me with my IVF. It was 10 the month before not great but passable. The month i did IVF it was 14! I produced 6 follies. 5 made it to day 3 and 2 were implanted and I am PG with twins.

I don't think you should worry about it either. Just keep being positive. Wheat grass is good for getting it down, but it wont help at this point. I think you will be fine. You'll see.

But just for anyone else, my FSH was 14.1 the 2 times they tested me on Day 3. Dr. Brenner told me right before I started stimming that it might "complicate" the cycle.
Well, at my very first sono, the nurse told me that it was clearly not an issue in terms of quantity - I responded well immediately. We'll see tomorrow how the quality is.
In the end, I had about 13 follies, they retrieved 7 mature eggs. I honestly wouldn't worry too much. I think sometimes the docs have to prepare you for all of the worst case scenarios.

Wheat grass worked for me and a jump from 6 sounds like a fluke. I have elevated FSH and I NEVER had less then a 10 and I had it tested many many times.

Mine have jumped from 6 to 10, then 7, then 14, then 6.9.
