Ella's eating her crib
In the last day, she's gnawed some nice marks into the side crib rail. What do you suggest, to protect the crib AND her...?
I've seen these options - has anyone used any of them?:
Our Crib Rail Guard with Velcro is made of quilted 100% cotton terry with soft padding to protect teething babies from injuring themselves by biting into the wood or metal crib rail.
Teething babies like to rub their gums on anything they can. It's easy to protect their teeth, and their crib, with this crib rail teether. Includes four 12" lengths, enough to cover one standard crib rail. Each section snaps into place and stays put, without the use of adhesives.
Our chewy crib rail protects baby's gums — and the crib! Crib rails are a favorite teething surface, but it's not good for baby or his crib. Why not turn that crib rail into a giant, soft teether? Our non-toxic, medical-grade rail cover has a unique chewy texture that soothes sore gums. Installs instantly with self-adhesive strips, molding closely to the rail. Includes one 50" trim-to-fit cover.

Re: Ella's eating her crib
Sarah did that too. I never saw the first one. We tried the second one, she figured out how to whip them off and throw them on the floor.
The Gummi Crib Rail Cover worked the best, we got it at BRU.
ETA: I just realized that was the 3rd one you showed.

It says it is. We haven't done it yet so I'm not sure, but I figured that if there was any adhesive stuck to the wood Murphy's Oil Soap would take it off. She was really chewing up one side, so I was more concerned with her gettng a splinter in her mouth. Fortnately she pretty much only got one of the small sides, so when it converts that piece will be gone.

We got the clear one from One Step Ahead after Tori marked her cherrywood crib It's been great so far and comes off with a hair dryer.

I wish I had known about the Gummi rail cover! Brendan's crib is full of teeth marks! I think I might still get one to keep him from doing any more damage.

Re: Ella's eating her crib
I got both the one that comes in 4 sections and the gummy one. I tried the 4 pieces first, and I'll just tell you they're full of do-do. The pieces are very easy to slide back and forth. The total length is about 3-4 inches short of the whole lenth of the crib rail and DD used to slide them back and forth all the time. I was really afraid she wound pinch her fingers. So I took them off and put the gummy one on there and it has been fine. I would recommend that one if you're getting it from BRU. I think those are the only 2 there (at least they're the only 2 I could find there).
