Emergency phone number list
What phone numbers would you add to an emergency phone list to leave on the refrigerator for whenever you have a babysitter?

Re: Emergency phone number list
-Your cell # - DH's cell # - Your parents/sibling's name & phone # (who will not be at the same function as you) - If we're going to someone's house, I'd leave their phone # too in case I wouldn't hear my cell
I think it is very important to write your address on it too, in case, god forbid, the babysitter has to call 911, they can give them the address quickly.

Re: Emergency phone number list
* Home phone number and address, just in case they need to let fire department or whatever know where they are. Sometimes it's hard to remember when you are in the moment. * Fire department phone number - Our fire department sends out letters every year reminding us to call them rather than 911 as they can respond faster. They are literally up the road from my house. * Pediatrician's phone number * Next door neighbor's number - my neighbor has offered to run out for milk or whatever if I couldn't leave, might be helpful to your babysitter if in a pinch if you are friendly with a neighbor.

Re: Emergency phone number list
Besides what PPs have mentioned, I also have LIPA & Keyspan (with account numbers) - if there was a gas leak or if the power goes out and the sitter is there.

Re: Emergency phone number list
I have a magnetic "Baby Sitter Information" card on my fridge. It has: *Last name *Phone number *Address (I also put directions on there "JIC" - if they need to give directions to an emergency vehicle I would rather it be right in front of her, she shouldn't have to think about it) *My and DH's work, cell and any other numbers *Pediatrician's numbers (including off hours emergency number) *My OBGYN's # (I am pregnant) *Hospital # *Police (local precinct in addition to 911) *Local Fire House # *Emergency contact numbers (I included work, cell and home numbers of each of my parents, my sister, my ILs and my BIL), I also included a few of my neighbors that know Jeremy and would drop what they are doing for him.
I also would put on there the location of where we will be that night if we have a sitter at night. If it is a family member, they would know where we were and how to reach us at all times.
