Finally ended my 8 yr contract with Sprint! please recommend your cell phone carrier
I HATE SPRINT!
Our stupid contract finally ended!
So please recommend your cell phone carrier.
Also, if you dont mind, please share how much you pay per month as well as plan details like minutes, how many lines etc.

it was hamster wheel! everytime we upgraded our plan or the ohone, they would sign us on for another 2 years.
and everytime we were close to ending the contract, they would sweeten the deal!
so 8 yrs later....

ya know, I think they all suk, but Sprint is the worst.
I have AT&T and it's basically free since DH works for them, but I always liked Verizon a wee bit better.
I still think that none of them are great.

I have Verizon and am very happy, We're on the north shore in suffolk and verizon is the only service that works at my office and DH's store.

AT&T
Ive had it for three years no problems at all
3 lines 550 minutes family plan
1500 text plans on 2 lines
101.00 a month
Great service in almost all areas, we even have it on Shelter Island in the summer, and I never got it there with Nextel/Sprint HTH

Had Sprint for 3 yrs and hated every minute of it...now for the past 4 yrs I have Verizon, which i loooove...no dropped calls, service almost everywhere. I have the family plan for me, dh, my mom and dad and with unlimited txt and i think it's 1500 shared minutes between all of us, we hardly use them since almost everyone i know has verizon and mobile to mobile it's free. I think the bill comes out to 150 or so for all 4 phones a month.

Verizon is good.
The only thing is- they never have the phones I like.
I feel like other carriers get better phones...(ex- AT&T)
But I can't complain about the service- so it's worth it to me!

Another Verizon user over here! I converted DH (former AT&T user) and recently converted my ILs as well. Well, sort of by default since they are on our family plan, but still!

OK, well I kind of feel like posting this just to throw it out there...
For all of you that hate Sprint, please let me formally apologize on behalf of them for any issues you have had or currently have with them!
I work for Sprint, have had their service for the past 10 years, have worked for them for almost 8 years and I take it very personally when I hear people have such problems with them.
For any of you who currently have Sprint and have any issues, please feel free to FM me and I will do my best to help you out and resolve any troubles you are having!
Sorry to hijack.. I just really hate hearing things like this, sincerely want to help...... and although I am only one person, maybe I can make a small difference!
