Emily's first haircut-updated with more info!
We took Emily to Hair Play in Levittown for her first haircut today. I am just making a quick post and didn't bring the good camera, but here are some cellphone pics!!
ETA: I wanted to type up more before but my sister was here to babysit and DH was bugging me that we were going to be late for the movies because we had a date night!!
Anyway, Hair Play was awesome. The woman who runs it has 5 kids and she was really good with Emily. They specialize in Children's haircuts and do little girl birthday glamour parties too where they do fancy updoos and makeup and dressup and stuff.
Anyway the baby's first haircut includes a certificate with a lock of hair and a photo. They put her in a red race-car and she immediately tried to drive it. She must have thought it was so cool because she was so preoccupied with the car and didn't wiggle too much.
We only got the bottom cut -- just to trim it and even it up since it was all different lengths and was starting to look straggely. She's about 8.5 months and we were going to wait until a year but we just couldn't do it.
She also enjoyed her first day in the pool today. It was a fun day!
