i haven't read the book, but isn't it all about raunchy sex? I mean, how is it going to translate to a movie anyway if it is not pornographic? Won't they have to super edit it? I feel like that would just ruin it although I have no idea what the book is like. It just seems like they just want to make money on a movie, and it will be a huge blockbuster, but it probably won't be like the book at all. am i correct?
I've read articles where the screenwriter said it's going to have an NC-17 rating, she's quoted as saying "There is going to be a lot of sex in the film...It's going to be raunchy."
I hope that's true because it NEEDS to be that way. Otherwise, it's not 50 Shades of Grey.

Ian Somerhalder is shamelessly petitioning to play this role, he wants it soooo bad. I think he's too pretty to be CG, IMO.
I've said it before but I'll say it again...I really, really, reeeeeeally hope Ian S. does NOT get the role. I will be sad if he does

He's shamelessly petitioning for it and it just seems sort of desperate. I think he's not right for the role and would really hate it if he was cast.
I DO, however, think it would be better as an HBO series or something because the possibilities would be endless.

ITA. But I don't think she's to goody goody. I thought the point was Ana is supposed to be really goody goody. I don't think this is true though. Last interview I saw of Emma Watson she rolled her eyes when asked if she was considering the role.
