Emotions out of control....
This is what I emailed to my DH to other day...
________________________________ I'm sorry I keep crying every day, but I don't know what else to do...
I feel like crying now, I feel like I have absolutely no control over my emotions and feelings.....I wish you would understand that....I feel like a mess inside, as I type this im holding back tears cause im out in public, i feel like a complete mess inside, no control over my body physically, or emotionally.....mentally, i'm just a mess right now
I dont know what to do, i feel lost ________________________________________________
this doesn't sound normal, being this upset, maybe I should talk to my OB/GYN? Anyone else feel like this?
I should add, I'm on antidepressants, and have been for the past few years after some tragedies in my fam....and I don't know how that's affecting my emotions, etc
I'm 27 weeks now and hope the next 13 are better, but I don't feel so hopeful
I feel so dumb for writing this but the past few days have been hell

Re: Emotions out of control....
SO sorry you are feeling this... I am 25 weeks and this last week I felt like my emotions are out of control as well. I'm hoping they get better by next week and this is just a temporary thing (I have these few day long funks a few times so far i my pregnancy). From what you wrote to DH it seems as if your feelings feel a little more severe than mine and I wouldn't hesitate to call your doctor and see what they suggest you do? Do you or could you go to a therapist and talk about these feelings.... Either way hope you start to feel better

Re: Emotions out of control....
Thanks...
I thought the emotional thing was normal during pregnancy, but how you said, this severe might be much
I don't see Dr. till the end of the month, so I'm wondering if I should wait until then, or call the phone nurse and ask if I should do anything or come in...
Another problem is I don't see a therapist anymore....I stopped and continued w/the meds and just have my primary care give me Rx's, but she doesn't really "monitor"--because I don't go in to see her unless there's a problem....Actually I haven't been there since being PG, so I don't know if she even knows I'm pregnant
I guess maybe I should have someone really monitoring while I'm on medications, not just leave it up to me and how I'm feeling....
thanks for reading

Re: Emotions out of control....
That sounds like me this past week, maybe its the full moon and all. But if your already on meds i would call up the dr because maybe the pregnany hormones are interacting with them and you may need to try something else Hope it gets better for you

Re: Emotions out of control....
Thanks, lexapro
I think I'm gonna mention it to my Prim care and my OB-GYN and ask if they can recommend me to someone (Psych) or ask their opinion
thanks all, I feel better knowing its not just me.....
