Empanadas & where to get them

Hi!
Where I used to teach, some of the Spanish speaking girls would go out for lunch and bring back boxes of empanadas and they were the most delicious things I have ever eaten in my life. I asked some of the students where they got them and they said a bakery in Brentwood but that they wouldn't serve you if you didn't speak Spanish which I don't, regardless. Now that my school has closed and I am jobless, I have had a massive craving for the past few weeks for empanadas. I MUST HAVE THEM! Sooooooo, where can I get really good ones? I am in Lindenhurst but am willing to travel a bit.

I KNOW you can get them in Jackson Heights but that's obviously a trek for you. I know there's a Colombian restaurant in Freeport on Merrick Road that I assume you can get them at as well.

Mi Tierrita on Suffolk Ave in Brentwood has really good empanadas!

There are many places to go in Brentwood to get them and you don't have to speak spanish. I always go to this place in Brentwood on Suffolk Ave. It is across from McDonalds in the Family Dollar, Dunkin Donuts shopping center. It is a little Columbian bakery. They are the best!! Also down the road on Brentwood Road right over the train tracks their is a big bakery(can't think of the name) They are also very good too. Mi Territa is also good to go out to dinner I have never tried their Empanadas. Now I want to get some!!!
