Endo Biopsy

hello ladies, I'm having a endo biopsy done tomorrow. Little nervous about it. I'm off to get my progesterone done now.

what can I expect?

For me, it was really nothing. Some ladies said they had a lot of pain.
Speculum was the worst! This was the quickest test for me. Different Dr offices do it differently. I had mine with Dr Lydic. Speculum, clean cervix, insert catheter/biopsy currette and while he is taking the sample there is a little bit of cramping/pinching but it was less than 2 minutes, definitely not terrible pain. The whole thing was less than 5 minutes. I didn't have any cramping or pain after it was over. I took 600mg ibuprofen 1 hr prior. I believe it was done CD10 and if I remember correctly we were told no unprotected sex that cycle.

I'm not going to sugar coat it.....it was the WORST test I had. I have been through all kinds of procedures over the years and this was one that I would rather pull my eye lashes out one by one than ever have again.

THe good thing is that it is super quick.

thanks Goldie. I had the HCG test done today as well, just in case. So far I haven't gotten a call from them, so I am good to ahead with it for tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up on the ibuprofen.
