endocrinologist recommendations?

Just wondering if anyone has an endocrinologist that they can recommend. I have thyroid issues and have been seeing my current endocrinologist for years and love her, but they no longer accept my insurance and the office staff is absolutely refusing to work with me as far as paying for office visits and testing. The staff was pretty rude to start out with, but they have been ridiculous since ive tried to speek to them about my insurance change. They are in queens which is pretty far for me anyway. I am looking for someone in northern nassau or on the nassau suffolk border. If they are familiar with the treatment of hashimotos thyroiditis it would be an even bigger plus! Thank you all so much!

I use Winthrop Endocrinology.. I see Dr Lao and Dr Shapiro who's the head Dr there. I happen to really like the group.. They are a little tough to get an appointment with though, that's the only bad thing..

Dr. Weinerman at the Pro Health building in Lake Success. I've also seen Dr. Hess in Great Neck.

In Nassau I used to see Dr. Rory Breidbart. I LOVED him and would still go to him but it's too far from me now. He is in Great Neck. His staff is very sweet. I also have Hashimotos.

Dr. Sussman in Smithtown. Not really the boarder but she is awesome. I also have Hashimotos.
